Rotate your streaming services
Keep one or two at a time instead of paying for all of them.
Most people watch one or two services at a time. Subscribing to a service for the month you'll use it, then switching, can cut streaming costs without missing much.
How to rotate
- List the services you have and the shows you actually want to watch
- Keep one or two "always on" services
- Subscribe to the others one at a time, binge, then cancel before the next billing date
- Put the billing dates in your calendar
Other ways to save
- Ad-supported tiers
- Annual plans, if you're sure you'll keep the service
- Bundles included with your phone or internet plan (check you aren't paying twice)
- Your public library's free streaming services
